Alentejo Slow Luxury is a free editorial guide created and operated by Portugal Magik, a private journey company based in Lisbon, Portugal. Portugal Magik is responsible for the personal information described here.

The details you choose to send through the enquiry form: your name, email, phone, country, travel dates, party size, interests and message.

The preferences you enter in the trip designer and the drafted journeys it creates.

Basic technical data, such as a one-way hashed version of your IP address used only to prevent abuse, and campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, used to understand where requests come from.

To reply to your request, to prepare a private journey for you, to protect the site from abuse, and to send occasional notes about the Alentejo only if you ticked that box.

Your consent, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure covers abuse prevention.

Only Portugal Magik, and the email delivery and database hosting providers we use, who act as processors on our behalf. We never sell your data.

Enquiries are kept for up to 36 months unless a booking relationship continues. Drafted journeys are kept for up to 12 months. Abuse prevention data is kept for 2 days.

No payments are taken on this site. Your Journey Board and any unsent enquiry draft are stored only in your own browser. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics scripts at present. The only items kept in your browser are your Journey Board (asl.journeyBoard.v1), how you first arrived (asl.attribution.v1), an unsent enquiry draft (asl.enquiryDraft.v1) and whether you closed the planning reminder, all for this visit or device only.

Under the GDPR you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a copy of your data, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD.
