The idea
Three days is enough to understand why people fall for the Alentejo, and not enough to see it all — which is exactly why this trip is open. We settle you into one countryside base, fix only the first evening and the last morning, and shape what sits between them around who you are. Some guests want wine and long tables; some want stones, stars and silence. The country holds both, and three days give you a first, honest taste of it.

A morning among the cork oaks
Walk the montado with someone who works it, learn how bark becomes stoppers without a tree ever being cut down, and, in harvest season, watch the extractors at work.
A long table in the countryside
A slow lunch under the olive trees where the food is Alentejano, the wine was made down the road, and nobody is in a hurry to bring the bill.
One walled city, walked slowly
Évora with a private historian: the Roman temple, the quiet lanes and the coffee in the Praça — two hours of walking that leave the whole afternoon open.
An evening by the great lake
Monsaraz at dusk, when the day visitors have gone and the lights of the plain come on, followed by dinner with the lake below and, some nights, more stars than sky.

What does “starting from” mean?
The prices shown are starting points for two people travelling together, in the quieter seasons and with our preferred stays. Your final price depends on your dates, the size of your group and the stays and experiences we choose together, and we confirm it in writing before anything is arranged.
Are these trips fixed plans?
No. Each trip is a length and a set of open ideas, not a schedule. Nothing on the page is booked in advance; we shape the days around your dates, your pace and what you would like more or less of.
What is included in the price?
Your private driver and guide, all accommodation, breakfast daily and the meals we plan together, every experience and tasting on the route, and all transport from Lisbon airport. Anything not yet chosen is discussed openly before you decide.

No. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged on this site. An enquiry starts a conversation with our Lisbon team, and every proposal is shared with you separately, for you to consider at your own pace.
