Stone, Roman and Megalithic Heritage
Roman Évora with a Private Historian
Évora
Read the layers of a walled city that has been lived in for two thousand years.

Signature Journey
Six days from standing stones older than Stonehenge to some of Europe's darkest skies.
The idea
The oldest story in Portugal is told in stone, and the best way to read it is slowly. This journey moves from Évora and its megaliths to the great Alqueva lake, a recognised Dark Sky destination, with two separate nights for stargazing so that one cloudy evening never spoils the plan.

DrivingAbout 1 hour 15 minutes from Lisbon airport
